Something's got to give here...I'm running out of design wall space! Despite having been away for a week, I'm cruising right along on my projects. Of course, the hexies, my evening and travel handwork, are slow going. I have more blooms assembled than are pinned up. These are just what I've been able to border with the black print, to this point.
Thanks so much for all of the comments on the repro project. I don't have a laptop so many remain in my inbox from while I was out of town, but I am planning a post in a few days on the specifics, for those of you who had questions. I had originally envisioned this as a small throw for the family room but I'm leaning toward a full bed quilt now as I love, love, love it. My sewing room is awash in newly cut strips.
I had hoped to sew and write a longer post this morning but house showings are intruding on my days and today is no different. No complaints, though. In this market particularly, the more showings the better and as sad as I will be to leave Chicago, as long as we're going, my attitude is *let's get this show on the road*. Off to neaten up piles of aforementioned strips!
The hexes are looking great!

As different as those 2 quilts are - they look good next to each other. I love your hexies - how big are you planning to go with that project?
Hope the showings go well.

Both your projects are looking great! I love the fussy cutting in your hexies and the black borders make those flowers shine!
That red centre is a great idea in the strippy quilt.
I hope a buyer comes soon!
Great to see you are feeling much better and back sewing and posting.

Well, clearly, the next house is going to have to have a bigger design wall. You seem to be keeping your spirits up - hopefully you'll have good news soon. I LOVE hexagon quilt!!!
