I expected to post more often during this trip but we've either been busy or Molly's needed her computer at school. This morning we're packing to go to Nagoya for a few days to visit friends, so here are a few shots from the last week with more to come when I get home on Tuesday.
Tokyo Quilt Festival
Nikko
Children's art exhibit at the Mie Museum
Fabric town! (Did you know there was such a place?)
I've been meaning to mention that Myra was the winner of my birthday contest. Email me your address Myra and I'll get your prize out when I get back. (Though I may be closer to you now!!) And thanks for all of the nice comments over the last couple of weeks. I haven't had time to repond to them but I've read them all and always love hearing from you.
Must.go.finish.packing.

Wow, so you made it to Fabric street as well, and saw Nikko under snow!
I really can imagine how full your Tokyo visit must have been - way to go! You inspire me to be more active, starting today.

That quilt is wonderful, and Nikko, and the art exhibit, and Fabric Street ... however do you find enough hours in the day to take it all in?

I am so envious! I wish I was traveling around in Japan, with my daughter or without! Guess I better start saving my pennies :-)

I was cruising blogs on a lazy Saturday morning when that quilt stopped me in my tracks. It's wonderful. Do you know who make it?

Love the juxtaposition of the quilt and the temple(?) with all their similarities.
Sounds like a wonderful trip.

Where ever did you find Fabric Town/Fabric Street? I must make a stop on my next trip. I hope you had as much fun as I did. I am already planning for next year.
