So pleased you had a great w/end. I'm doing the Purl thing in July (for the second time) and am glad it sounds like it will be worth the trek from England! I know Purl's not big, but it IS perfectly formed.
And yes, the Julie Arkell weekend will be great!

I would have far preferred to stay with you than head out for the memorial day festivities - but a promise is a promise.

I very much enjoyed meeting you - next time, okay?

Sounds like a perfectly lovely afternoon. I love the thought of walking by Edna's (yes, we are on a first name basis) home, then sitting and talking in a churchyard. How perfect.

How wonderful. I'm glad you had such a good time, even without me. I guess I can't be everywhere, even though Cassandra-1 seemingly CAN. ;-)

I am inordinately fond of the solid Koigu, and the red -- wow! Pow! Amazing.

It sounds like you had such a great time! I so wish I there was somewhere I could buy koigu in person, I am very jealous.

Sounds lovely. Isn't it strange how different places can change you? And the yarn, beautiful.

I want to go to New York, too!

That sounds amazing. I had exactly the same first impression of Purl when I was there in April!

It sounds like a lovely time. And you are a lucky person to be "energized" by NYC!
