Since most of my free time in the short term will be taken up with learning the intricacies of being a blog-mistress, I'll be posting some photos of recently completed projects for a few days.
After years of gifting quilts, I am winding down on that practice for a variety of reasons, mostly because I often use them to put off doing my own thing (whatever that is). This past year, however, I made two gift quilts and was happy I did because the recipients were so excited to receive them. This one was Christmas present.

I love making scrappy quilts. This one was a little hard to part with, but it has a good home now.
Don't stop making gifts!! This one sure has a great home, but what about my couch? My futon? They're lonely and want quilts too.

Wow! I'm so glad Super Eggplant had a link for your blog. Have you done any Kaffe Fassett quilts?

I LOVE the pattern and colors you have chosen for this quilt. I saw it in your photo albums and looked through you whole blog to find it. I've never seen the block before - did you make it up yourself? It's awesome!
