Today I spent more time than I really had on 'homework'. Have you had this experience? I took the color class and already had my lightbulb moment. Now I want to work on my own, but there is a final assignment that will be for the benefit of the group. Each student will make 8 blocks in a predetermined design in a randomly assigned colorway which we'll exchange at the final class. Everyone will then leave with a complete set of examples.
I admit, I had a brief impulse to mention I wouldn't be at the last class. I resisted the urge.
This afternoon I auditioned several variations and in the morning I'll sew up 8 blocks and check that off my list.
But tonight, I have something else in mind!
While that assignment does sound irritating it reminds me of Blocks of the Month and I LOVE THOSE, seeing all the different colors...is just so darn cool!

Beautiful blocks. I'm guessing that the yarn and needles is for a felted bag?
