Faye

Love that block!!!!

Clare

It's so scrumptious I could eat it. Really eye candy!

Pat

Wow! that is a seriously happy block...what fun!

And being in withdrawal from Downton Abbey, had to check out the paperdolls...oh my word...too much!! Sent the link immediately to a dear friend of mine who luuuves paperdolls and is also a huge fan of D.A - can't wait to hear her reaction.

Thanks so very much for the FYI - made our day!

Janet

Love, love the red background! I'm glad you're enjoying your space and time - finally!

Linda in NC

Fabulous! Especially on that red background.

Oh My Gosh Jan -- it's Gorgeous!!! I'll soon be done with my current applique project...could you please pick a new one for me LOL? I love everything you touch -- you're like Midas!!!

Thimbleanna

Btw...your flickr link isn't working -- it has your blog URL at the front...

Ann Champion

What beautiful block! Great fussy cuts too.
I love the red background, but I can see where it would be hard to choose fabrics to go with it. You want a nice contrast, which you've acheived. I love that green in the stem..it's perfect with everything.

Thank you for sharing the show pics. I thoroughly enjoy seeing them.

Karen Beigh

The block pops. That would wake you up in the morning with the bright colors. Well done.

Elizabeth

So colourful and happy. You can't help but be inspired after the quilt festival. Off to check on your latest flickr...

Marisa

Jan, this block is insane. I have never used red as an applique backing. You are really making me want to try it. Wow.
Thanks for all the photos, I will check back again to see the rest as you upload them. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting them. They are such a pleasure to see and you do a wonderful job of photographing them.

I HAVE to HAVE to get out my quilting UFOs....

this brings tears to my eyes :) --- not only the fun and beauty of it, but the "idea", which I know and prefer, of picking up handwork for stress -- and there always seems to be stress, sigh. So I MUST get my stuff out LOL. I even like those fiddly grandmother's hexagons paperpieced .... :)))

Meredithe

Whoo-hoo indeed!! Fabulous block - colours look amazing!
