Prayers and best wishes. Perhaps some knitting can be done while sitting around.

amy

Hoping M fully recovers soon!!

Diane

WOW, that is a stubborn strain of flu! I'm praying for M's complete recovery and a peaceful holiday season for you both.

Thimbleanna

Wow Jan -- that's awful! I hope M gets better -- and for good this time. Thanks for the gadget tip -- like you, I'm not a gadget fan, but if they're good, I'll buy them!

jeanne hughes

You are both in our thoughts and prayers! I always found sitting around in the hospital a good time for small handwork projects. Please take good care of yourself! J

cara

Totally bought that gadget too. Haven't used it yet, so I'm glad to know it gets your seal of approval.

Best wishes to you and M. SPEEDY RECOVERY!!!!!!

I have seen the ad for the cutter about a hundred times. Looks like it works really well in the ad.

Take care of yourself too.

So sorry to hear that your husband is ill, but at least he's in the very best hands, receiving the care he needs for a speedy recovery. Sending warm thoughts to both of you - and don't forget to take care of yourself in the midst of all this now!

carol

Sending healing thoughts to your hubby

I'm a long-time reader but this may be my first comment. I was taught that when you're praying for somebody you should always tell them you are, so: I'm praying for your DH and for you, and for the medical professionals taking care of him!

KathieB

Sorry to hear your husband's had a setback. It's frightening how persistent some of these illnesses can be. Hope by now he's improving steadily. Your story about his illness is one of the scariest I've ever heard.

This was the greatest thing ever invented for wrapping presents.

Maytina

What an amazing idea!! I love it. I haven't hit this blog in a little while so I went back to read what happened! I am so glad you got to the hospital on time! :)

Lisa in Toronto

Best wishes for a smooth recovery ASAP for your husband.

(BTW I wonder if the cutter will also work on newspapers?)
