If you've been looking for me, most likely you could have found me out in the yard. Because although from my sewing room it looks like the photo in this post, there are numerous areas that actually look like this:
...long untended areas of hostas, berried bushes and specialty plants which have been grossly over run by pachysandra. Tough, woody-rooted pachysandra. If the clipping wasn't so hard on my hand, I probably could've had it mostly finished by now, but I can only take a few hours of it a day. The weather's been so beautiful over the last week, it's taken no effort to get me out there and aside from the hand issue, it's been satisfying to see (some) areas of jungle revert to relative tidiness.
This morning I awoke with a throbbing thumb joint so I gave in and took a couple of Advils. Can't let gardening injuries impede knitting progress, now that I've finally picked it up again.
