If you've been looking for me, most likely you could have found me out in the yard. Because although from my sewing room it looks like the photo in this post, there are numerous areas that actually look like this:
...long untended areas of hostas, berried bushes and specialty plants which have been grossly over run by pachysandra. Tough, woody-rooted pachysandra. If the clipping wasn't so hard on my hand, I probably could've had it mostly finished by now, but I can only take a few hours of it a day. The weather's been so beautiful over the last week, it's taken no effort to get me out there and aside from the hand issue, it's been satisfying to see (some) areas of jungle revert to relative tidiness.
This morning I awoke with a throbbing thumb joint so I gave in and took a couple of Advils. Can't let gardening injuries impede knitting progress, now that I've finally picked it up again.

I love it what ever it is!

The mitten is beautiful. I'd rather knit than garden any day.

The mitten looks nice, very nice. Are they radishes or strawberries?

I love those knit radishes!
Hope you enjoy your new house :)
I think of you a lot lately - you helped me track down a beautiful fabric (back in 2006)

AND, you got me obsessed with hexagons again with your kaffe flowers (I had sworn them off in 1999, after piecing 400+ for a failed quilt).
Anyway, I've been using that fabric a lot and 2 yrs later, I'm still making hex flowers like crazy. I hope you start to enjoy them again (you sounded burned out in january) because you do them so well.
Just wanted to say thanks, and I'm looking forward to you getting settled into your new studio!
