A few weeks ago while whittling my magazine stash, I came across a profile (in Japanese, regrettably) of an applique artist whose work I always stop and sigh over. So lovely. Are you surprised that the artist is a gentleman? I'm assuming he's a gentleman, anyhow. How could someone create such sensitive work without a gentle soul?
This week has evaporated on me, as so many recently have. I have a hundred things to post about but no time, less focus. For now, a few links.
- I may not be making much knitting progress, but my new favorite blog is TECHknitting, via Vicki, I think. What a treasure trove.
- This apron (instructions included!) is so not my style, yet I find it to be one of the most delightful projects I've come across recently. One More Moore looks like a worthy addition to a Bloglines list.
- Today is Free Fabric Friday over at Sew, Mama,Sew! Go over and nominate someone (yourself or *surprise* a friend or other blogger) to win a selection of fat quarters...this week's fabrics are a graphic group of black & whites. While you're there, check out Kristin's online shop...nice array of prints!
- Do you block your quilts? I never have so Diane's photo tutorial today at Going To Pieces caught my eye. Seems pretty much like knit blocking, but I'll be referring back to these tips if I try it someday. Nice quilt, too.
I'll be away for a few days. In the meantime, here's one more for all of you kitty fans.
