Are we having fun yet?

Floorfabric2_1
Why, yes...

Redinprogress
...yes, we are!

I had planned to write an accompanying post, but frankly, after several days of marked improvement, my hand has taken the proverbial two steps back and is currently throbbing.  So I'll forego typing for now and will return at the beginning of the week.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Oooh! I love it! Such a fun arangement for a quilt. Can't wait to see the finished result!

Ohhh... So lovely. I love the angles.

Love the pattern and am ever so jealous of the design wall!!!!

So cool and funky! I love it!

Wow! I'm not sure why but the word that comes to mind is yummy! Maybe all the pink and red reminds me of candy?

Looks very cool! (But take care of that hand!!)

That is a great quilt you have in progress, and so perfect for Project Spectrum. Very inspiring!

I just made my mom check this out!! What is that block???We simply must know!! How large are they??Just awesome!!!!!

Love the colors and pattern.

I love the quilt, kind of makes me think. Is it your design? Are the instructions available? Great Site!

Lookin good! Hope your hand feels better.

How fun! How Project Spectrum! Hope your hand feels better soon.

Great pattern- good to hear you're having fun (despite your hand troubles)

Beautiful beginnings! Love to see all of those pinks and reds ;) Hope the hand gets a restful weekend... feel better!

How beautiful! Definitely looks like fun!

So funky, or is it jazzy? Is it springtime already? So peppy, it just makes me feel very happy!

I love that! I am turning red with envy

Is this an original Bemused pattern? It rocks!

Wow, stunning!!!! What is that pattern called? I LURVE it. Red and pink is one of my favorite combos. Red pink and orange IS my favorite combo. Yummy stuff - I hope you'll show the finished product!

Sure looks like you're having lots of fun! You've really taken to this months colour scheme then? Looks like it will be a great quilt. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

groovy...what do you call this?

I've been lurking here on and off for ages via Blackbird. One day - O.N.E. day - I will start (and finish) a quilt, and indeed become a quilter. At this point in time I have a couple of books, but no idea where to even start. I want to do something in blues and greens using vintage fabrics from the 50s and 60s, and maybe even the 70s. But that's it. I don't even know how much fabric to buy let alone how to match patterns with plains, plaids with florals, florals with . . .

So at the moment, I am content to sit, and watch and marvel as your pieces come to life.

(The idea of making a mock-up mini version had never occurred to me - but makes so.much.sense. SIGH. So much to learn. I also don't have a machine, so it's all going to be by hand...)

very fun!!! pink and precocious! love it!! (um dude. the hand? ow!)

Oh my! I love where it's going!

yes, you've done it, you've inspired me. Yesterday I sat down for a little bit and did some hand quilting from a project I started 9 years ago!!! (I have finished quilts in the intervening years....) I happily looked at my design wall holding the traditional quilt I am (or really am not) piecing right now and I'm going to do it, one step at a time...In the evening I worked on the first sleeve of my first ever sweater. If only the kids didn't need to be fed and the groceries purchased and the clothes laundered...

WOW!!!!! That is a really fun pattern!

This is so inspiring! I'm starting a red baby quilt for my brother but I'm making it very, very simple, in stripes.

Wowee!! I had been looking at this post all weekend, finally I printed out the picture and drew all over it to figure out how you did it! Very, very cool and clever. Thanks for the inspiration and the brain tickle. Take care of that hand!

That looks fantastic and is a wonderful red/pink project. And you are working so well-organized, this wall is brilliant. Your blog, your pictures and your talent are the reasons for my desire to dive into the world of sewing a little more deeper.

those colors are AWESOME!! the wall is totally brilliant. You are inspiring!

I love the colors and design! Do you have carpal tunnel? I do too, and can't type long, or hand quilt, or do English paper piecing. Good luck.
